The background of the project is that under the general trend of climate change, frequent extreme weather, rainstorms and floods have a huge negative impact on social economy and human daily life, and also propose new challenges to urban space and facilities.
The project is located in an old urban area of Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China. Taking the small-scale landscape as the main starting point, the project hopes to apply the resilient landscape strategy to the environmental renewal of the old urban area, improve the plight of the old urban area in the climate change, reduce the impact of floods, and alleviate the urban heat island and other ecological benefits.
