This project explores light as a parallel vessel, using two intersecting flows—bright and dark—to generate distinct spatial experiences and reveal the dynamic relationship between material and illumination.
Bright lines create direct, expressive material effects, while dark lines, with their weight and depth, evoke suppression and distortion, offering a contrasting perception.
The design employs reinforced concrete, glass, and cement to enhance this interplay, with light introduced through both linear and planar sources. By integrating slot glazing and varied window openings, the project produces shifting atmospheres that culminate in a nuanced dialogue between structure, material, and light.
