NOT SOCIAL CLEANSING

Personal work

This project explores the intersections of social housing, marginalisation, and collective action, focusing on the spatial and economic challenges faced by migrant communities. The research investigates systemic inequalities and potential solutions.

The poster presents these questions as layered inquiries: starting with spatial and economic segregation, analyzing the reinforcing role of financial systems, and concluding with the transformative power of community organizing.

The zine extends this structure, dedicating a chapter to each question, blending archival findings, spatial analysis, and visual storytelling. Targeted at urban design professionals, the zine aims to provoke critical reflection on the role of design in addressing housing inequities and amplifying the voices of vulnerable communities.
